SAPC holds the absolute freehold title to a plot of land south of the A472 and just west of the village, known as "Constable's Field", approximately 1.4 acres in size. This land was gifted to the Parish so that its rental proceeds could pay for a village constable to keep the peace. Nowadays the income goes into the Parish General Fund.
