Stoke Albany Parish Council are engaging with North Northants Council (NNC) to introduce traffic calming measures in the village. Previous conversations with NNC have not progressed due to NNC's perception that there is a 'lack of incidents' in the village - a measure that the NNC Highways team use when assessing a road or area.
If you experience an issue due to the roads or traffic around the village, however minor, please report it to Northamptonshire Police. This includes incidents such as wing mirrors being clipped or cars being scratched/damaged by other vehicles. This will help us to build a portfolio of evidence to support the need for improved traffic calming measures.
